Any form of change, big or small, is identified by the body as a stressor. Start a new job? Stress. Win the lottery? Stress. Crash your car? Stress. No matter if it’s good or bad, when there’s a surge of adrenaline, your body responds the same way…it’s under stress.
Over time, constant stress can take a toll, leading to digestive upset, restless nights, headaches, hormone changes…you get the picture. Thankfully, there are many herbs that help the body cope, calming the nervous system and shielding it from some of the damage that long-term stress can cause.
My De-Stress Tea Blend brings together a few of these key herbs. Each one has its own special role in supporting the body and mind during stressful times. Let’s look at them individually….
