Here’s a fire cider recipe that combines the best of nature’s immune-boosting herbs, roots, and veggies in one powerful tonic… with an herbal twist suitable for all families.
Fire cider is a fast and affordable way to ward off seasonal colds, soothe sinus congestion, or simply support your overall wellness. I made this recipe years ago after a few attempts at a standard recipe I snagged off of Google. If you want to see a hilarious video on how one of my earlier batches went, check this out. I thought…this needs an herbal punch. After a few tweaks and a little trial and error, of course, this cider recipe was born. It’s powerful enough to knock down what ails you and gentle enough not to burn your gut and send your kids running to the sink.
My biggest concern with immune support is ramping up my autoimmune disease. There are so many herbs that boost immune function, and in someone with any type of autoimmune disease, that’s a HARD NO! Fire cider is a fabulous way to get healthy and safe immune support. Easy to make and beautiful to share, fire cider reminds you that caring for yourself can be simple, comforting, and delicious. Let’s brew some herbal goodness and keep those immune systems happy
